Ian Fleming Introduces Jamaica
A book filled with descriptions and many colour photographs of Jamaica. Did you know that Jamaica is where Ian Fleming wrote all his James Bond books? Ian Fleming passed away before this book was completed, so his long-time friend and editor, Morris Cargill did his best to complete the writing in the way that Ian Fleming had asked of him before he died.
You'll see from the photos that the book is in excellent condition, with the dust jacket having a clear archival protective cover. The price is unclipped; a map of Jamaica is printed in the front and back inside covers.
There is minor edge wear, and a small spot at the bottom of the back inside cover where the orange paper has torn off (see photos).
***There is a VERY INTERESTING HISTORY associated with the original owner of this book. You'll see a pasted-on book plate of the previous owner, H de M Molson, who was in fact part of the famous Molson Brewery family, and one-time owner of the Montreal Canadians NHL Hockey team, which he bought in 1957. Check out the Wikipedia page for more information on the original owner of this book:
An excellent edition for an Ian Fleming collector, Molson collector, or Montreal Canadians Collector.
